The most effective frankincense species of Somalia and Nigeria unite their strengths in equal parts. This results in a new, extremely potent profile that mirrors the versatile qualities of the Boswellia genus and creates synergistic effects. We don’t know of any comparable product!
At first, we experience refreshingly cooling and activating components that seem eucalyptic and piny. A friendly pick-me up, welcoming us into the here and now with a clear mind and no unnecessary upset.
With time, the top notes evaporate to reveal sweet, balsamic elements. Also, aromatically spicy components come to the fore.
Interestingly, even though it is the same genus, and while it is always the resin that is distilled we still get a balanced blend. Harrabi (Boswellia dalzielii) puts in the top note, Beeyo (Boswellia carterii) and Maydi (Boswellia frereana) bring qualities of middle, but mainly base notes.
Since essential oils react with each other and build new chemical compounds, the blend differs slightly from newly mixed oils.

We buy the frankincense resin directly from small farmers. It originates from wild-growing trees in Somalia. Our farmers collect, clean and sort it. We support this process on site and, after many years of gathering knowledge and experience, are able to assess the quality of the resins ourselves.
For getting the best quality it is important that the trees are harvested only once a year, with breaks every two years, and that they have close seasons during periods of drought. We only distill the best quality and fresh resin, which results in the outstanding quality of our products. We don’t know of any other company that works comparably. We accompany the entire production process, from the resin to the bottle. We extract frankincense hydrosol and essential oil from the high-quality raw material by means of gentle steam distillation.
Varietal purity is very important to us, because like this the different characters of the various types of frankincense can be experienced.
